My Story

Gold Foil Books started the way most good things do: quietly, in a corner, surrounded by books and fabric scraps.

I’ve always believed that the books we love deserve to look as extraordinary as the stories inside them. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking a much-loved paperback and giving it a hardcover case worthy of a shelf display.

I’m a self-taught bookbinder based in Wollongong, Australia. I work from my home studio, crafting one cover at a time with care and a lot of attention to detail. Every cover is designed thoughtfully.

I work on both standalone titles and full series, so your shelf can finally look the way you always imagined it.

When I’m not at my workbench, I’m usually rereading old favourites or discovering new titles.
